AI and visual integrity
AI is a tool, not a factual source.
AI can assist research workflow, editing, language, design, technical development, and educational visualization. Every published factual claim requires an independent evidentiary basis.
Visual categories
Documentary photography, scientific or technical illustration, historical image, reconstruction, adapted diagram, AI-generated educational illustration, and AI-assisted reconstruction must be distinguished.
An AI visual that could be mistaken for documentary, laboratory, or historical evidence must be clearly labeled. Ownership of an object does not automatically confer copyright or image-reproduction rights.
For famous diamonds we use real documentary photographs with verified rights, never AI substitutes.
