AI is a tool, not a factual source.

AI can assist research workflow, editing, language, design, technical development, and educational visualisation. Every published factual claim requires an independent evidentiary basis.

Visual categories

Documentary photography, scientific or technical illustration, historical image, reconstruction, adapted diagram, AI-generated educational illustration, and AI-assisted reconstruction must be distinguished.

An AI visual that could be mistaken for documentary, laboratory, or historical evidence must be clearly labelled. Ownership of an object does not automatically confer copyright or image-reproduction rights.
