James prepares corrections to text and terminology, checks sources, and prepares change packages. Marko Kačinari reviews and approves every change; nothing is published without his approval.
Disclosure of artificial-intelligence use
Artificial intelligence may assist research, editorial, linguistic, design, technical, and visual processes, but it is not itself a factual source. Final responsibility for published editorial content remains with a human being.
Graphics
The Book is published with 406 scientific graphics in light and dark versions. Each graphic carries a HOK-DIA-VIS identifier, accompanies a specific chapter, and is also available in the Visual Atlas.
Photographs
The first edition is deliberately published without photographs. Photographs will be added only when they meet our standard: when they accurately show what the text describes, when the source has been verified, and when there is a clear licence or permission from the rights holder. Each photograph will carry its author, source, and licence.
Fonts
The site text is set in Literata (SIL Open Font License 1.1), renamed HOK Literata, with a few characters from EB Garamond (SIL Open Font License 1.1), renamed HOK Book Supplement. The HOUSE OF KACINARI wordmark is set in Cinzel, renamed HOK Wordmark, and the motto in EB Garamond Italic, renamed HOK Motto (SIL Open Font License 1.1). The interface is set in Inter, and the text in the graphics in Source Serif 4 and Inter (SIL Open Font License 1.1), renamed HOK Serif and HOK Sans.
Licence texts: Literata, Cinzel, EB Garamond, Source Serif 4 and Inter.
