Accountability

Public accountability is broader than correcting a typographic or factual error.

Material matters may include rights, attribution, undisclosed funding or conflicts of interest, a misrepresented institutional relationship, conduct inconsistent with published policies, or a serious quality issue in a future physical product.

A report is not the same as a confirmed breach. Evidence carries more weight than the reporter’s status or title. Any future public accountability record may document only material cases, without unnecessary personal data or unverified accusations.
